Hatched on Martin Luther King day or 2015, “Marty” is the offspring of an accidental hybridization of a red foot and yellow foot tortoise. The red foot papa, Rubio, and yellow foot mama, Ollie, were unsexed roommates living the apartment life in Atlanta. One day Ollie laid a clutch of eggs, and despite what the haters had to say, Marty hatched herself to stardom.
