“We must adjust to changing times and still hold to unchanging principles.””
Patron Saint of the Peanut Toss
You know, I’m not completely certain how President Carter became a part of our fundraiser, but it probably has something to do with his lifelong commitment to service, helping others, fighting disease, and making the world a little better. There are other parallels, too: growing up in Southwest Georgia, a shared love of peanuts... he founded the Carter Center, and we founded the Half-Stache Bash. It’s kinda the same.
Throw a peanut in his honor, and see if you, too, can win a Nobel Peace Prize!
