THE REASON FOR THE BASH:

Wyatt was Julia’s twin brother, and he had a gift for finding fun and a little absurdity in just about every circumstance.

During treatment for cancer, several rounds of chemotherapy and radiation left him able to grow facial hair on only one side of his face. Naturally, Wyatt leaned in. He grew a mustache. Or, more accurately, a half-stache.

Wyatt died of cancer in 2010, but the spirit behind the half-stache stuck with us. Half-Stache Bash is our way of taking a page from Wyatt’s book: getting people together, having some ridiculous fun, and making something good out of something that really wasn't.

So we gather. We eat. We drink. We raise money to fight sarcoma.

That's the Half-Stache. And that's why we Bash.
